Studio Photoshoots – Set 005

Although Hannah is no longer in it, Skins series 4 has wrapped filming and the first promotional clips have been released. Check it out below – I can’t wait!

An exciting new addition has been added to the site – a domain! Now you can access the site from the original url – http://hannah-m.fan-sites.org – as well as a brand new url – http://hannah-murray.com ! I am still working on the Skins screencaps, so expect them up shortly.

Finally an update! My new house has been without Internet for the past two weeks, and so I’ve not been able to update any of my sites – very annoying! However, I finally have got my season 1 of Skins back, and so I’ve been making some captures for the site! So far I’ve just added all the DVD extras, but over the next week or so I’m going to be adding newer and higher-quality caps of all the episodes from season 1 – stay tuned!

Thanks to Marion and Julie for letting me know that the first trailer for Hannah’s film “Womb” has been released! Unfortunately, Hannah is not seen in it, but the films looks very interesting, and hopefully more info will be released about it soon.

I have finally added 167 captures of Hannah’s appearance in Marple: Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? to the gallery! Unfortnately the caps aren’t of the greatest quality but it’s the best I could find, and Hannah looks quite adorable in them – enjoy!

Sorry about the lack of updates, but there has been nothing new to report lately in the world of Ms. Murray, unfortunately! It appears that Chatroom has moved into post-production, so hopefully these two new projects will be released sometime soon.

I have also finally managed to get a hold of a copy of Miss Marple (thanks to Sugar), so I will hopefully have some caps of Hannah’s appearance in that asap, as well as putting up a nice new layout here soon. Please bear with me!

I’ve been adding yet more images to the gallery, including 002 from an event in 2007 and 016 images from Hannah’s stint in New York when she was filming Skins. More updates soon!

A new and interesting interview with Hannah as popped up online – thanks to the ever-helpful Julie for the link!

Dev Patel may currently be the best-known Skins alum but I am confident that in time Hannah Murray will come in second. Just about every viewer agrees that she was phenomenal on the show as the loony, anorexic Cassie—a character with whom she still feels deeply connected—and despite presently doing time at Cambridge University, where she is studying English, she shows absolutely no inclination of allowing her acting to slide. Here I speak with her about her best-known role, her recent foray into theatre, her fondness for literature and other such topics.

I guess we should start with Skins. How did you become involved initially with the TV show?
They were holding open auditions in Bristol, where I lived and where the show is set, which I found out about through a local youth theatre that I was involved in. Initially I remember wanting to go along more because it would be good experience to audition for something – I didn’t think I had a chance of getting a part. But I met Jane Ripley the casting director who said they’d like to see me again and then I had two more auditions with the directors and producers before I found out I got the part on my 17th birthday.

Things have been very quiet around here lately, but I’ve managed to find some more pictures from the BAFTA Television Awards and the press night of ‘New Boy’. It looks as though ‘Womb’ has gone into post-production, and ‘Chatroom’ is currently being filmed, with Hannah signing on as a character called Emily. It also seems that Hannah’s resume has been updated with a new TV show – ‘Above Suspicion: The Red Dahlia’ – a sequel to ‘Above Suspicion’, a drama that aired on ITV last winter – more info on that as it appears!
